This Invigorating day adventure includes photography tips and a private group photo-shooting on every location along the tour.

We’ve thought of every detail to make this a perfect trip!

What to Expect

The journey begins with a lovely trip through the beautiful Lake Lucerne towards Vitznau. Then continues by Europe‘s first cogwheel train up to the summit to Rigi-Kulm (1,800m / 6,000ft). From Rigi Kulm we walk a short incline to the top and enjoy a 360 degree view of Swiss alps to the South & East and country view on a clear day to France on the West and the Black Forest in Germany to the North. We will assist you along the tour with photography tips to improve your images and we will also do a photo-shooting at the best Vantage points at Rigi Kulm.

After being inspired by jaw-dropping Alpine Vistas at Rigi Kulm, take the 1 hour walking trail “Rigi Classic” down to “Rigi Kaltbad” (we can also adapt this trail to your requests and do just the half of it and then take the train to Kaltbad for instance). This easy high-altitude walk features magnificent views over the Swiss plateau to the Black Forest, and the Alps, as well as a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug. Minimum effort for maximum reward – the entire trail is a gentle descent. The panoramic view from the lookout at Känzeli is simply fantastic. Even Queen Victoria of England had nothing but praise for this spectacular location when she visited back in 1868. We could also descent on a “Sledge” instead of walking down the classic trail if you want to, either way, you will enjoy the panoramic view over Central Switzerland and the stunning winter Alpine Landscape. This is just the perfect setting for an unforgettable swiss experience!

Your knowledgeable guide takes you to the best locations around Mount Rigi for optimizing your photography, depending upon the available light and time of year. Your guide also offers insight into the area’s history and traditions.

From Rigi Kaltbad descent on an aerial cable car. it’s almost like flying! The  Rigi Kaltbad – Weggis  “Gondola” floats high above the forest, offering views right down to Lake Lucerne and as far as the majestic peaks of the Bernese Alps, including the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Gasp as you rest your eyes on striking, snow-smothered panoramas of the Swiss Alps followed by a leisurely boat ride (45  min) to Lucerne and then set out to discover the important monuments and pretty attractions of the city; explore the Old Town, stroll across Chapel Bridge, visit the Lion monument, old city wall and then we will end up the tour at the Lucerne castle to enjoy the high views over the charming city of Lucerne, the Lake and the Alps! We offer you a life-enriching Photography day tour where a mystical, white winter paradise awaits you. We can ensure you will get outstanding Images from the Swiss Alps!
