If your interest extends to the making of the beer – not just drinking it – the brewery tour is a unique behind-the-scenes look. Lucerne’s most famous brewery opens its doors to the public to share (some) of the secrets of their brew.
Devote between 90 and 120 minutes to learn every step of the brewing processes from the sticky smell of the hops to fermenting to conditioning to tasting. End your education by sampling the freshly tapped unfiltered beer with Bavarian snacks.
Before the brewery tour and a brief stop where the fermentation and storage cellar is located, let us indulge you with an aperitif consisting of a pair of original Bavarian «Weisswürste», a pretzel and Händlmaier’s original Bavarian mustard served along with a 3dl Seidel beer. In the storage cellar you have the opportunity to taste our beer from the fermentation and storage tank. If a taste is not enough, the restaurant or bar at the end of the tour allows you to continue your “sampling”.
